Business Gift Ideas

We all normally pitch in $20.00 for his gift…He likes the Yankee’s, Fishing, and Golf…but every year we seem to get him something that has to do with those things…we are all out of Ideas. Help!!!

Relax, Christmas is far away, but I can tell you like to plan ahead, co here are some ideas…

3.A novel- The Kite Runner is a good one (I am reading it right now )

5. A Golfball phone..I’ve seen them before and they’re funny!
5. I golf club cover- you can get funny covers like cats, or fish!

7. a cute mug
8. Something to do with an inside joke….
9. Godiva Choclates
10. Yankees shirt/hat

We have a female manager and all the girls are going out for a Christmas lunch. Our manager wants to treat as a Christmas to all of us and I suggested we all go in on a gift for our manager. Someone wants to buy her a diamond necklace, but others, including myself, feel diamonds are a bit intimate and personal, not something you'd give to a person you work with/for. What do you all think?

Should I send them a huge gift basket? That sounds really corny, what should I do?

~~Honestly, after working for doctors for years, I can tell you they would love it! Nothing was nicer than a client who took the time and effort to send a thank-you gift for every ones effort.

Let me tell ya one thing, nothing says thank you as well as some goodies to hard working, stressed out, office workers.. Your idea is awesome, not corny at all!~~

I am not a Muslim. My customer is in Dubai and we communicate frequently by email and SMS. What is a nice but appropriate thing for me to email or text to him on Eid? Also, is there an appropriate and traditional gift that I might send to him? Is there a reputable online service that could handle the delivery in Dubai? Thank you!

If he is a native Arab, then Eid Sayed "meaning happy eid in Arabic". You can also say Eid Mubarak and he should understand it. For this eid, (because there are two different Eids throughout the year), a traditional gift would be a gift of sweets because this eid (eid-ul-fitr) is nicknamed "Sweet Eid". So, something like a nice package of dates, a cake, a box baklava, a box of chocolates or candies, or pastries, and any such thing would work. I don't know of any services but I can guarantee you that some do exist. So your best bet would be to contact someone in a bakery or something and then have them deliver it fresh (preferably in the morning) on the day of Eid.

I am meeting my former boss, who is a retired Army General, and his wife. Please suggest me a gift for the lady. Not too costly, but tasteful.

flowers for her and wine for him unless you know him well enough and know what his preferred alcoholic beverage is and if he is a tetotaller then… maybe get a nice decorative box with different kinds of tea in it or or coffee and tea…and maybe some homemade biscuits to go with it… then that is a good gift for both of them…. if he does not drink alcohol as some people don't or can't…xxx and if you can't bake buy some nice bisquits of different varieties and give that to both of them together with the tea in its decorative box.. a variety of teas.. from ceylon to indian to Chinese… in a gift box bought in a tea shop…xx
