I’m planning a trip to Montego Bay next month, and I always like to bring things from home to give the cleaning staff. I would prefer to bring something that is needed or valued, and I’m wondering what the ladies (and potentially their children) like to get from tourists.
I know in Dominican, they really loved American Eagle shirts & pretty much anything denim. In Mexico, the ladies seemed to really like soap/makeup.

I’m heading down to Negril for the first time soon. Been doing a lot of reading on trip advisor but recently found Negril.com and they have a message board that is much better. Ask the quewtion on there or do a search through previous posts.
I’m planningo n doing the same though. Everythign is expensive in Jamaica so simple houshold medicines are a good gift things like tylenol asprin, etc. They also like scented lotions and soaps as well. School supplies would be a great gift as well. I hear bring a bunch and your driver will stop at a school on the way and you can give the gifts yourself, talk to the kids, I think soemtimes they even put on a little show or sing for you or somethin.g
